WP Site Lockdown was created by WP Fix It after decades of cleaning infected WordPress websites, securing hacked installations, and seeing the same problem show up again and again: WordPress users needed a stronger, simpler, all-inclusive way to prevent the most common attacks before they happened.
We kept seeing the same security gap.
After more than 20 years of removing malware from WordPress websites, WP Fix It saw a common denominator behind countless infections and reinfections: there was not a sufficient all-inclusive WordPress security plugin that helped everyday WordPress users close the common security gaps behind 99% of the hacks we were seeing.
Most tools handled pieces of the problem. Some scanned. Some monitored. Some hardened a few settings. But after a cleanup, site owners still needed stronger protection around the areas hackers abuse most. That is what pushed us to build WP Site Lockdown.
